Imari in stock
Imari colours of red, white and blue originated in Japan in the mid 17th Century and became very popular in Europe especially in Holland and England. Chinese Imari was made around the early 18th Century but the majority of Imari collected today was produced in Japan in the 19th Century in an amazing range of shapes and patterns.
We hold a fine collection of the superb pieces created by the Koransha workshop in Arita - the finest quality Imari ever produced.
